We've reached June! Time to celebrate with the first ChargeOver updates of the summer!

Changes to the ChargeOver UI

A quick heads-up that the location of some features in the UI will be changing!  As part of an effort to clean up some of the user interface of ChargeOver, and make some features more visible to our awesome customers, we have created a new “Features & Add - Ons” menu for easy access to them. We wanted to specifically call out a few options that have moved. Specifically, these options were previously under the "Configuration" menu, and now will show under the "Features and Add-Ons" menu instead:

• Hosted Pages
• REST API
• ChargeOver.js
• Late Fees
• Processing Fees
• Brands
• Webhooks

Support for PayPal Express and for paying with Venmo

PayPal Express allows your customer to pay via PayPal like our other supported PayPal gateways. However, PayPal Express streamlines the payment process and allows for the customer to stay on your site when paying via Paypal rather than being redirected over to PayPal’s site. This should lead to easier, faster customer payments by PayPal and a better end-user experience.

Venmo is another payment service (geared primarily towards mobile). If you enable PayPal Express as a payment gateway for your ChargeOver customers, then your customers will also be able to pay via Venmo if they have a Venmo account.
