Monthly Newsletter - May 2018

Hi everyone!

May has arrived, summer is right around the corner, and it even looks like it might finally stop snowing for the year! If that isn't good news enough, here are this month's ChargeOver updates!

GDPR compliance

The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) sets standards that businesses must meet in order to protect the personal data of EU citizens. Thus, it is a priority for the ChargeOver team to make sure we are GDPR compliant for our customers who are based in the EU or do business with EU citizens. We are currently in progress of getting GDPR compliance and certification for Privacy Shield. We will also have a Data Processing Addendum (DPA). We aim to be compliant by the May 25th GDPR deadline. Please contact us for more info or to be informed when we have compliance.

Two new Products & Plans reports in the Report Center

Two new (and very frequently requested) reports have been added to the Report Center. These are the "Invoices with Products/Plans" report and the "Subscriptions with Products/Plans" report. These reports allow you to see all of your subscriptions or invoices and the products/ line items for each one. You can also filter by plans/products to see every subscription or invoice for a certain product!

Ability to view list of all child customers under a parent customer

When viewing a customer that is set as a parent to other customers/ companies, you will now see a "Child Customers" tab that allows you to view and access the full list of child customers under that parent.

Support for syncing sales tax to Salesforce

Previously ChargeOver was able to sync the line rate and line quantity on invoices for Salesforce, but not the tax amounts, subtotals, or totals. ChargeOver now supports syncing tax and other line item level fields to Salesforce!

For more information on how to connect your ChargeOver to Salesforce and sync your data, visit our help center.

Automatic duplicate checking when adding a new customer

Never worry about ending up with a duplicate customer again! When you begin creating a new customer in ChargeOver, you will now receive a warning message if the new customer's name or contact email is the same as an already existing customer.
