Kick-off a Subscription from Salesforce

Close a deal in Salesforce and watch ChargeOver create the customer, subscription, and first invoice on its own. No re-keying, and the invoice waits for approval before it sends. Click through the interactive demo to see it happen.

What's covered in this product showcase

This walkthrough follows one deal, Polar Corp buying an annual SLA: Gold plan, from a Salesforce opportunity to an approved first invoice in ChargeOver. Here is what you will see, step by step.

  1. Start in Salesforce. Create a standard opportunity for the Polar Corp account with its close date and stage, then save. Nothing changes about how your sales team works.
  2. Pick a mapped price book. Select a price book that is mapped to your ChargeOver products, so the price the rep quotes is the price billing uses.
  3. Add the products. Add the annual SLA: Gold plan with its quantity and price. Those values flow straight into billing, and the deal totals $30,000.
  4. Mark it Closed Won. That stage change is the only trigger ChargeOver needs. The subscription appears inside Salesforce, linked to the ChargeOver record, so sales can check billing status without a ChargeOver login.
  5. Review the first invoice in ChargeOver. The customer, the subscription, and its MRR are created automatically. The $30,000 first invoice is generated and held as Unapproved until someone on your team reviews and sends it.

The result is one source of truth. No one re-keys the deal into billing, pricing cannot drift between the two systems, and the first invoice still gets a human check before the customer sees it.
